Mediator, Voodoo & Monitor Probs
« on: June 04, 2005, 11:09:58 AM »
Morning All

I wonder if anyone can help, I am having problems with getting an output to either my Hansol 710P CRT or Illyama E381 TFT monitors from my Voodoo3 Graphics Card.  I have performed a clean install of OS3.9 from OS3.0 using a emergency boot disk.  I then installed Picasso96 installed the Cybervision64 3D driver, went back through the installation and changed the monitor freq(I guess this might be a problem as I set it to the highest refresh rate). I then installed the mediator software and renamed Cvision3D to Voodoo.  I then went into Picasso96 Screen mode, this is where I am having the trouble as I don't know what the monitor settings should be. I am getting a signal through to both of the monitors because if I set the refresh rate too low on the TFT the monitor displays its own error message.

Am I choosing the wrong settings, if so could somebody supply them.  I have noticed and I don't know if this is related but the Picasso install, installed a program called PVS, when I try to open it it tells me that it cannot find the file "Mui(something else).libary" or something like that.  Could this be causing a problem.

I also thought it might have something to do with the mediator as I am unable to use the Mediator config program supplied on the CD as everytime I click on the button it asks for "C:installer" the only program similar to this I have in my C: draw is "C:Install". Any clues

Any help would be gratefully received :-?

Many thanks

Lee
