What monitor is it? What inputs does it have? Just D-Sub?

Some newer LCD monitors now come with S-Video inputs, it's very cheap to get an RGB to S-Video converter.

Other than that, you should consider a non Amiga scandoubler, one for a Playstation, X-Box, Wii.

XRGB or like.

Quality is variable.

Get a good internal one if you have the choice, preferably a 24-bit capable one if you have AGA

Would you be happy with a 16-bit one?

AGA is 24-bit.

I dont think anyone knows. It will be easy to test when you get it. Let me know and I'll supply you with the test images and add the info to BBoAH.

All I know is the Picasso IV RTG gfx card with scandoubler is 24-bit. I just bought one today for $310
