I fear there will only be assembled mini-migs when someone reaches deep into their pockets, takes the gamble and has 100+ made up professionally.

It is a risk, and who has 2k+ to invest?

I thought some assembled MiniMigs had already been manufactured and sold?

They were hand assembled / soldered by the guy who make the boards. At over 3hrs per board you can appreciate after he'd done 2-3 he realised how futile the idea was and gave up.

All talk, no trousers.

The guy has no idea how much it will cost in terms of time and money to make a whole new PCB using BGA chips.

I'll believe it (and buy one) when I see it.
