Hey what do you mean by this? If I install the cloanto 3.1 rom in my a2k and install wb with commodore disks it wont work?
To answer your question as stated, correct, it won't work. Workbench.library must be loaded at startup with the Cloanto ROM. You don't have to buy the Cloanto disks as you can load workbench.library in StartupSequence.
The real problem however is, not many folks know this and users are inevitably going to mix old ROM & Cloanto disks and vice-versa. There's some users not to happy about this.
Do some googling... you'll see.
Not to mention, try to find an original A500/2000 3.1 ROM...ANYWHERE!
I need one and it seems impossible. You'd have to get a burned one somewhere. Of course, you caould always load a ROM image at startup too. But what a fiasco!
