New 8MB memory board for A500 install....
« on: June 15, 2017, 11:59:05 PM »
Bought this to add 8MB of fast ram to my A500…

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-CDTV-A500-8MB-RAM-Board-/322538391341?hash=item4b18c9472d:g:78EAAOSwSypY9~Ze

So after trying to install the ram board I quickly found that it wouldn’t fit with an IndiECS installed. I pulled the IndiECS.

Installed the ram board - which just barely clears the keyboard.

So had to raise the IndiECS with some risers.

Here’s everything installed with the IndiECS

8MB Fast RAM

2MB Chip RAM

Everything fitting nicely….
