I'm in the opposite situation at the moment. I've acquired the 'remainings' of an A3000T some time ago. It had problems with both the mainboard and the powersupply. I've had contact with a guy who's on A1K.org and he fixed my mainboard. He repaired traces, did some other small things and checked the functionality of the board. I'm told it's working fine now, but I still have to get my powersupply working again.
Could you show me pics of your powersupply solution?
