Yeah, that does seem true! I also say Oh two oh, oh three oh etc :)

Linux is pronounced: Linn-Ucks :)

Yes, the "i" in Linux is a short "ee" sound as in "In" in northern Europe, it is not pronounced like "aye" as in "Line". :)
