It really, really was mate. And still is. Just have to sell everything to get a car, I fully intend on getting another one as soon as I get a bit of money again. I have it going through a 24 channel desk with outboard processors, controlled from either an Amiga or a Yamaha sequencer. Endless fun for all the family!!
Ugh! I feel the pain, all my hardware had to go a few years back (kept my Roland W30 though)... I had to consolidate my production setup and cover bills/rent... Running Reason on a laptop became the only rational solution for me (excuse the pun)
What it lacked in charm and character, it made up for in versatility... I was sorely tempted to buy an Emax II recently
