Meh.
I suppose it has it's use. Just like the VIA eden or a shuttle HTPC. But I prefer my laptop with the built in 14.1" Active TFT.
And any real modder out there could take a VIA eden and put it into an amiga housing anyway.
I know I could if I had the time, money (to buy the VIA board), and a spare broken A500.
But if noone else has done it yet though, I'd be surprised.
I would have to agree, a Laptop is way better than another other "Small footprint" form factor computers.
Having just bought one, I could never go back...
I tried to cram a MiniITX into an A1200 case, but the DIMM sticks up where the keyboard needs to be.
And without extensive modification to the A1200 case a PC key board won't fit... or maybe one could build an Amiga to PS/2 keyboard adaptor... that would be quite nice actually.
