Yes "Emulator" but not just an Emulator ..... it has evolved and mutated beyond that, and heading in the right direction with such fire & passion. You gotta just love stuff like this!
It's definitely just an emulator... If you look closely, you will see that it can run an Operating System, and I think (though I can't be sure) in this case It's running AmigaOS...
