I would go the UAE route... Cheaper, more reliable, and will last longer... Personally I feel real hardware should be mothballed and preserved for future generations... I want to be able to how my kids/grandchildren a real A500...
But even that is going to be a struggle... Modern TV is becoming less compatible with the Amiga's output....
