Then it struck me. Here I am surrounded by computers and things which generally need active cooling to dissipate their thermal load.
So, suppose you got a good length of flexible heatpipe and made your typical copper blocks for CPUs and such, then routed the pipe out of the case and into an undertable foot dock, sufficiently big in surface area not to burn a small part of your foot but evenly warm it all over.
Feetsink, anyone?
