funnily the Acorns reached RISC CPU levels and had a nice OS.
 


The Acorn's suffered from poor Gfx and Audio performance and the OS sucked... yes, the CPU was nice :-)

Yes, the Archie had better resolutions and more colours, but the performance of the graphics was quite poor. The Architecture was not designed for Arcade graphics.

It was also quite a bit more expensive than the Amiga!
