How do I go about burning a movie if possible?  I'm using morphos on macmini. What are the best way to go about this (using which programs, and what commands) I did come across  dvd engine, and dvdauthor, but I was unable to type in the appropriate  shell commands to get dvdauthor going.. The same is true also on dvdrtools. If you've been successful please list how along with our steps.  Thanks(giving)

I don't have anything specific to say since i have never done this and i would love to see a tutorial about this too.
As a first step, you must to convert the .avi file to .vob. To do that, you need to use Mencoder or FFMpeg.
Then, you need to prepare a directory structure that can be read from a home DVD. I'm not sure whether DVDAuthor is the right tool for this.
The final step is to burn this directory on a DVD. You can use FryingPan or MakeCD for this. There is a guide for MakeCD in the tutorials section.
