MiamiDX's delay on finding static IP

It's strange because both MOSNet and Genesis, finds the IP  and connects instantaneously. MiamiDX takes 8 seconds to find the IP before it connects. This happens only in static IP configuration. In DHCP, it finds the IP immediately, like the other 2 stacks.
 Is this normal? Can i prevent this delay? (Besides switching to DHCP) I have an normal ADSL connection if it matters.

Maybe you have some setting in MiamiDX, which isn't defined as static? Maybe it tries to look up for nameservers, host name or similar? Try to disable all queries from net.

 Good hint! I went to Interfaces -> TCP/IP settings and unticked the DHCP Enable box. The delay is gone now.

And how can you tell it takes 8 seconds? Does it open some kind of requester saying it does something?

 Yes. When i press "Online" there was a requester saying "finding IP addresses  Please wait" for 8 seconds, but it has been sorted out.

Btw. If MOSNet and Genesis work for you, why wouldn't you just use them? They're much faster than MiamiDX. I only use MiamiDX when I'm using computers somewhere else where it isn't possible to use static addresses.
