I was intending to open a thread about this problem. I am trying to do the same but using MakeCD. Most ISOs are burned fine with it, but some fail. I think that the failing ones are ISOs which contains Data along with music tracks, although i am not sure.

I've downloaded Zool 2 from Back2TheRoots, and Worms and Super Stardust from Dream17. When I burn Zool 2 or Worms I get errors that it has run out of data

If you mean a buffer underrun, i have the same problem. I tried to set the writing speex to x1 without success.

Furthermore, the VirtualCD tool (it lets you access an ISO file, like it was a CD-ROM) fails to recognize these particular ISOs.

Would somebody mind downloading Super Stardust from Dream17 and try burning it? I'm starting to think the image is corrupt.

I don't mind, but my connection is too slow to download CDs.

There's an old but still mostly accurate MakeCD tutorial at http://acdldp.emuunlim.com/bootablecdr.shtml.

 There is? :-?
