PCMCIA network cards that doesn't work "out of the box"?
« on: August 05, 2006, 07:48:21 PM »
 Hello.
 I want to buy a PCMCIA card for my Amiga 1200 to go broadband but i read in some posts in this forum that even some of the listed cards on the compatibility list of the 3com, cnet and prism drivers, needs to be configured/flashed using a pc first, in order to work on a Amiga.
 Could you tell me which cards are these so i can avoid them? I don't have a pc.

 @pan1k

 I already have all of the 3 available drivers for Amigas, my question is NOT about drivers.

@adolescent

 Ok, thank you for the report. I should not encountered  any problems then, if i choose a card from the compatibility lists.
