Hi all,
  I made a lengthy post on AW.net on this same topic, thought you might like to read it. Some of it will apply to this site as well. Let me know what you think of my guess/predictions, lol. Thanks.

Ed

Erm, you haven't been in the Amiga community for long, have you? If you have, shame on your naivety.

@Mikeymike

Yes, I have been in the community for quite some time, since the early 90's. I was restating what Bill said he and his OS "dreamteam" are supposedly building. I don't truly believe that they have something now; just possibly will in the future.  But then again, not too long after I bought my - then new - Amiga 4000/040, I was told by reliable Amiga sources that the next Amiga was going to have OS4, AAA architecture and be CD-ROM based, well, we all know where that went. . . SO to answer your comment, NO, I'm not naive and believe that OS5 is coming out. BUT, I do believe that Amiga will try to come up with it's own product to cut Hyperion out of the loop, just not any time this decade.
