A dumb Software question for you smart guys . . .
« on: April 14, 2005, 02:07:09 PM »
Hi all,
I just wanted to first announce my proud return to the Amiga scene, with my recent A4000 purchase, and soon to be A1 purchase. I wondering some things that maybe you all could answer. I'll put them in list format, please answer them accourdingly.
1-Are .ADF files, like those you get from certain websites legit Amiga games? I've read they are somehow transferable from a PC ( Yea I said it on an Amiga site ) to the Amiga.

2-Since I have an A4000, can I use any particular CD-Rom to play games? How about CD32 Gmes, since they both use AGA?

3-I've heard people mention many times on this site, back to roots has downloadable games,  . . . um. . . HOW? Do I need to be on my Amiga to download it? Or am I missing something?

4-I am DYING to get original Pysgnosis games, like . . .ALL of them. The problem is; the ones I see, are mainly for sale through our friends in the UK. Are the UK games, ( Since I've forgotten) playable on our American specs Amigas?

5-What modern monitors can I use to play my Amiga 4000 on?

Thanks for your answers, Long Live AMIGA! ! !
