Art from West Branch here. I had trouble making an emergency boot disk too, is that what you are trying to do? Or do I remember that the instructions tell us to boot from a boot disk and then install os3.9? I just bit the bullet and installed right over 3.1 myself. Didn't have anything on the drive that was not replacable anyhow. Let me know how you are doing, I'm no expert but I'll help if I can. Best regards .....ART
