lemmink is right, when you're deinterlacing, basicly you're combining two lines into one and since you send double the information in the same time the frequency is doubled eventually. The wording of BBoAH is rather strange. I guess they wanted to mean it doesn't have pass through for VGA output of video cards ? (it doesn't make sense either way)
