hmm, I think this product is meant for the japanese market. people don't want to keep huge cases here and this gives them the flexibility of choosing your own monitor (laptop monitors tend to be small). It's quite adequate for some one who uses the pc for only browsing&internet and wants to have a big screen. design is horrible though.
