As for the Winuae floppy problem, have you checked if in the floppydrives section of the WInUAE config window the checkmarks of DF1: DF2: etc. are ticked?

LOL. I don't know what happened, but if it can mess up amiga forever, I sure wouldn't try it on a real amiga.
