First of all, OS3.9 uses reaction, which basically is a new version of Classact. If you really did install classact2demo, it installs an older version of reaction classes, so every program that uses reaction will fail. You have to restore the sys:classes/gadgets and sys:classes/images drawers from your os3.9 CD. If you had any boing bags installed, you have to reinstall them, because they update some reaction classes.

Second, OS3.9 already has glowicons functionality. There's no need to install anything extra. When you install os3.9 it installs glowicons for all your programs and drawers.

Third, If you still want to use glowicons.lha from aminet, you have to install the icons yourself. There is no installer-script. You can use CopyIcon to replace the icons you want to change. Or use copyicon function of os3.9 itself:
Click on the icon you want to change,
choose icon-info from the wb-menu, goto the icon tab
and drag n drop a new icon over the old icon displayed in the window and of course press the save button.

Remember to reinstall the boing bags.

BTW Os3.9 has support for NewIcons, GlowIcons and MagicWB icons. Like I said before there is no need to install extra programs or libs.

If you use copyicon, first you must select a source icon, and drag it to the left box.
Then you select the icon you want to change and drag it to the right box. Unlike the icon in the left box, the icon you dragged to the right box won't stay there. The icon image will be replaced and the right box goes empty again.

If you use the icon info menu and you select the icon-tab, you can see the program/drawer icon on the left. Drag the iconimage you want to replace it with over the icon on the left, and it will be changed. Next press the save button

I just checked with snoopdos:

When you use the icon info menu, some reaction classes are used.
So if you want to change icon-images this way, make sure you restored your reaction classes.

CopyIcon should work with HD icons. If it doesn't, check if your HD-partition has a file called disk.info. If not , copy disk.info from another partition or disk to the partition you want to change and when you've done that, try to replace the icon again with copyicon.
