Yeah, what TJLazer says:

you ain't going to find (m)any Amiga "upgrade" or "turbo" or accelerator boards without chips on them. But you could have kept it as a spare (if you already had a removable 68040 board). Eitherway, do some research before you buy, because there's lots of scum on eBay, trying to trap people with bad wording and deceiving photos...

Wow, that really sucks :(

Would be nice to get overclockable 040's, finally :-D

Got my old 486DX2-66 to run at 80Mhz, the other day, no sweat! Too bad I can't do the same with my 040's :(
