I have had this system for about 8 years. It was given to my by a guy I bought an amiga 4000T from who said he didn't know what it was and it won't boot. I got looking at it and found it was an AmigaOne and log story short, I ended up removing the MB and reseating the CPU module. It also seem to have the wrong standoff and the module was cocked. So I installed the right height one. However, it is a finicky thing and if I let it sit for a few months, I will have to reseat the CPU module. It has been behaving lately.Since I have owned it, It hasn't been stable. It had 4.0 and I upgraded it to 4.1U6 and now FE. I have seen several posts around the NET on this issue and I have tried many different things through the years. I have read about DMA issues and so forth but I do not have any onboard devices running except the NIC.Here is an inventory of my Amigaone.A1XE-MBD7451 G4 @800MHz 1Gig RAMATI M9200 256MB PCIEIDE SIIG SC-PE4B12-S4Startech PCIUSB7SB Live! 5.1 SB0220PS/2 mouse and keyboard (AmigaONE)I have the EIDE configured with HD on Primary and CD on Secondary channel. They were both on Primary with HD as master and CD as slave.I was running OS4.1U6 but just installed 4.1FE. I experience from time to time the system just locks up. I have the CPU docky running and it just pegs at 100%. When it does if I reboot, it will lock up right before it plays the bootup sound and the mouse will be stuck in the left corner. Sometimes the audio will start to play and it freezes to a digital buzz. The only way I can get it to boot after that is turn the PS off for 30 seconds. I have replaced the bios battery even a few cards. I was reading a review on the X5000 and they said that the onboard audio is an issue and they give an external card. Even though I am using a SB Live!, it is sure pointing to audio by the way it gets stuck when it boots.I have not been able to pin point it to one thing or be able to recreate it. I can say that Timberwolf will crash it every time.
