I've read.. Your point in posting the link?

That the real issue is what (if any) the reaction will be from C=Holdings B.V., who registered the trademark prior and not so much the product itself.

Ah understood.  Well that all remains to be seen.  If there were issues with using the C= name, logo etc. would they have come out
by now??  Who knows.  Until thses things are shipped and in the hands of users/ reviewers.

We already have facts in evidence that there are issues with using the name.

with regard to the C64c case project

Initially, they too said they would continue to invest in product instead of lawyers (see 1st post same thread).

To date I have seen no official announcement of an official Commodore licensee from C=Holdings B.V. Of course they've been busy with 3 concurrent lawsuits.

I'm trying to stay positive here.. .  And at the end of the day nothing comes of this "new" PET phone, oh well.  For me its no big deal.
I have way more than enough real Commodore and Amiga gear to
last a few lifetimes, yup I got it like that!  If it does happen, sweet I'm in and will give it an honest go.  Hang on to it and in 10 years listit on eBay.  And add it to the thread "Are we still posting crazy eBay auctions?"... Haha.
