Thank you Dr. Bongo. Your advice did the trick. The machine runs fine now, after I disconnected the extra ram. I can't see what the problem is with the extra ram, but at least now I know the machine don´t malfunction 
Could very well be damage from a leaking battery if you're talking an A501.
