Wow, Mr. Bill steps on Barry's toes.No matter what you think of Altman and C=USA, you've got to have sympathy for him dealing with this shyster.Currrrse!
I wasn't even aware McEwen had the website back up.I'd heard a few things about tablets, but I assumed they were from C=USA.At least the C64x has a distinctive package. Why in the world would I want one of these iContain things?
"IContain announces Amiga branded TVs, cell phones and computers"Barry IS dealing with Satan. The TVs I knew about. The cell phones I couldn't care less about. But that last part, boy I'm glad I'm beyond caring about that trademark.
They are not all-in-one keyboard computers.Yes. They licensed the Amiga name for one specific type of product. Amiga Inc. is free to license the name to other companies for other products.Same thing with the Commodore name.http://www.commodoregaming.com/http://www.commodorecorp.com/
http://www.androidguys.com/2011/04/07/packard-bell-amiga-enter-android-tablet-fray/#more-248752 different tablets but got me thinking. One being this new Amiga version being talked about, the other some Packard Bell. Didnt PB get bought out by Acer who also own all of Gateways old assets including some things Amiga related? IF that was the case, surely there new range of tablets and anything else for that matter could use the Amiga name in any way they choose?I could be way of the mark though as im still unclear if Amino/Amiga.com/Bill McEwen actualy own everything Amiga related.Bloody mindfield..
Ok lets put it another way, If some big company wanted to buy the entire Amiga IP whatever that includes & not just licence the name, Who would they talk to? I would assume Amino but is it all there's to sell ?
