OS 4.0 status?

Forgive me if this is a tired subject... but I'm just coming back to the amiga after a long time away, and I'm wondering about the status of OS 4.0,  is it released yet?  if not, any idea of when?  Is there any available beta or anything like that?

thanks for the update!!  Great to know it's still in the works.  I'd hate to see it fizzle after all this.  Any good sites you know of to keep track of it's progress??  or is this THE place.
