selling up
« on: October 25, 2005, 04:37:58 PM »
Hi, i am planning on selling my power tower amiga 1200. It has a blizzard 240/040 ppc card with 64meg of ram. Also has a fitted bvison graphics card. It has a cd rom, writer and 250meg zip drive. All the graphics card/ppc work but the softwear is not set up right.

I am selling as i cant get it to work properly and am just out of my depth. my 040 1200 is more than enought i think.Any ideas how much i should sell it for? or should i break it and sell it in bits?

Thanks alot.

@ doctorQ the main problem is the the ppc need more power and cooling as it is not very stable. The ppc works along with the bvision but i dont have any software to use it and my old games dont work on it. So i find it hard to continue if it wont play my games or run dopus.

I know these sound simple things but it is just getting to much, if there is anyone near by i would easly give it to them of a few weeks to sort, and something in return if they like.

Thanks again

Also i have little intrest in OS4. Its mostly for simple tasks and playing my large collection of games.

@doctorq

Well i have me bilzard out, i have some heat sinks, do i do a dab of glue on the heat sink corners and some thremal paste on the 040? Were do i put more power into blizard? It is the scsi enabled version if that changes anything.

Thanks again!
