Can any American say how successful Congress (or the US Courts) have been so far?

Not a whole hell of a lot...  And now it'll get worse since the republicans have gained control of the Senate and House of Representatives and Bush will likely be able to appoint (even) more conservative judges.  Now I'm not saying the democrats are all that much better.  But at least they usually take up the opposing ideological arguments of pro-consumer/labor against 'Big Business'.

All this bodes well for 'Big Business', in this case Microsoft.  If you folks thought Microsoft got a slap on the wrist from the anti-trust settlement, just wait until M$ pitches Palladium to the US government as essential to 'Homeland Security'.
