@Franko,

:)

>>when I could have been doing something useful like ringing up Virgin Broadband to tell them their service is crap

So true, I have been with them for over ten years and their customer service sucks!

Shame you can't beat cable for broadband, ADSL is poo. This is the only reason I am still stuck with them. Their mobile phones are worse than their customer service which it makes it really bad.

The other thing is that they have millions of special-cool offers for new customers and for the veterans, the ones who have paid them lots and lots of money during all these years of loyal attachment, bugger all! :)

Regarding gardening...that is crap too. Hate it! I enjoy sitting in the garden, looking at the lovely plants and flowers and cutting the grass once in a while but proper gardening is hard work. ;)

Your account: is cursed man! :)

@Franko

Trouble is Virgin is even worse than Sky so you don't have much of a choice really (well you do but you know what I mean). I just call sky once a year to tell them I'm leaving to go to Virgin and they usually give you 3 months free or reduce the prices for a while just to keep you (got six months free broadband back in April when I told them I was leaving), but at the end of the day the buggers have you by the short'n'curlies as they know all these companies shaft their customers and you've got nowhere else to go...

Exactly. I tried with Virgin...I said: "Your service sucks I am leaving!" and they said: "Ok." So as you say we are pretty much screwed. All that **** about allowing companies to compete with each other to give the consumer better deals it's all a con. The companies agree prices amongst themselves, competition my arse!

:)

>>PS: Think they've managed to drive a stake through me account now and got some witch doctors to lift the curse, it's been funning fine now for almost four hours...

Good news! I wonder who cursed you!
