Your favourite case shape
« on: November 09, 2008, 11:54:38 AM »
 Hi,

I need another 15 orders for the new batch of white Minimig enclosures, so please keep them coming. Only 15 more.

I am going to pay for the rest of the order myself somehow (I have already started selling some of my precious Amiga stuff on ebay to finance it; boxed games and some other hardware bits).

Once I have raised enough money I'll make a prototype of one of my designs for the SAM/SAM Flex so I would like you to vote for your favourite shape.

Thank you.
:-)

1) Pizza box style (flat, only a few cm high, rectangular or square)

2) Cube style (space for one 3.5" HD and one 5.25" DVD drive)

3) Wedge with inbuilt keyboard (A500/600/1200 style, 2.5" HD, slim DVD drive)

4) Tower

5) Small footprint box (2.5" HD, slim DVD drive)

6) Big desktop box (A2000/3000/4000 style)

So it looks like a small footprint cube or an A1200 shaped case...interesting :-)

>>As you are designing these wonderful cases, I'd like to ask you if you think it is viable to do small "pizza box" that one could mount behind TFT screens using standard VESA wall-mount holes?

Mmmh...I am not sure that if I designed a nice looking case I would want to hide it behind a TFT screen, I would just prefer to show it off :-)
