Software Hut also lists them for under $60 but I typically have to email them to check if they still have something as their web inventory isn't always accurate.

I've sold a few items to more than one person...who've had Amigas for years, who aren't familiar with currently operating retailers.

They don't know there's any retail way to buy stuff any more.

They see something for an Amiga on ebay and figure they should grab it before they can't get it.

...also buying from vesalia.de implies shipping charges from Germany which might make a $60 board cost quite a bit more.

amigakit.com has a U.S. store though...don't know though, never ordered from them.
Sincerely,

i dunno if that means anything...

ICs seem to last a loooooong time and I have bought things new and had them not function new.

There's something to be said for a board that's been used for quite a while.

I mean it isn't like tires for your car that are going to wear down or something.

...and it is possible a new board has a manufacturing flaw though unlikely.

every board I pull out of my machines looks spanking new...it isn't like the semiconductors start to wear out or something.

only thing that might not be in good shape is the floppy and most manufacturers have newer versions of their software on their web site...including Individual computers.

Sincerely,
