Which model is is? What speed is the 040?

This card only comes one way...

Processor:     040@33Mhz
FPU:    Internal
MMU:    Internal
Max Ram:    32MB
Ram Type:    8 x 32pin SIMM slots.

http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=202

(the cooler fan is in place on mine...I assume they've moved it out of place in the images at the above link to see the processor)

This one is populated with 32 mb of ram and the jumpers are configured to auto configure the first 2 megs of ram.

It can be configured to auto configure 2-8 megs of ram at startup.  I think I have a disk around here too so I assume there's software to make the remaining ram available.

32 didn't seem so limited to me...I mean it would be great for most things.

Sincerely,

so I guess 100 EUR / 150 $ would be a good price. Maybe even a little bit more when you can confirm that it runs well with "modern" OS and Software.

The 2000 it is in has 2.1 on it.  It has been used with Toaster (2000) software as well as a PAR, Sunrize sound board and various other animation and graphically heavy uses.

I don't have a CD rom in that machine so putting 3.9 on it to test would require ROMs and a CD and I'm afraid getting 3.x ROMs to test 3.1-3.9 isn't practical.

Considering the above software mentions I wouldn't anticipate any issues.

and it was snapped up quickly so I would say yours is worth more

Yeah, I'm thinking Lemmink is close with his mention of $150+...I figure with the 32megs on the card, a 33 Mhz 040 is worth $150-165.  2000 accelerators seem more scarce these days to me...as they were produced mid to late 80s.

My understanding is that there is an advantage to the processor slot in a 2000 having quicker access to ram anyway.

The next stop is an 060 card and those go for quite a bit more than that so this seems reasonable.

I recently sold a G-Force 030 X 25 with 5 megs of ram for $85 buy it now

btw, I do have a GVP 030 card with scsi and 1 SIMM of ram on it but haven't been able to get it to function.

I'd be interested if anyone thinks a "pig in a poke" like that is worth anything?  It still may be repairable...I just haven't figured out what the problem is yet.  kind of doubt it's worth tracking down a GVP repair though.

thanks, valuable info...

hadn't tried it on other then the 2.1 2000 it was in so knowing about FastExec is a plus if I let it go.

found it on aminet at:

http://aminet.net/util/boot/FastExec29.lha

I may just list it on ebay this afternoon if I can manage to get a pic.

unless someone wants to offer me $150-200 for it.

I've got one guy considering it who I sold a monitor to a while ago so unless someone raises their hand soon I'm thinking it's future is on ebay.

; )

I dunno...I'd say a Zeus was worth more than $200.

guess it depends on what you're looking for.

fyi...

several hits on the counter, a few watchers, one offer for the full amount if I could accept his Money Order...unfortunately, the reason I'm clearing this stuff out is I could use the funds pdq and Paypal is the quickest way so I felt I'd leave it up and see if someone else had a similar need.

make me an offer...

for those who may not have noticed, the PP 040 sold with 'buy it now' at $160 yesterday...being shipped to Australia!

we live on a tiny blue ball...all things are possible!

fyi, there's still a number of other items up with several ending in the next day or so....if you're interested.
