Doesn't the Apollo 1260 run the memory bus at half the CPU clock speed? One of the major disadvantages compared to the Blizzard 1260 iirc.
Pure speculation on my part, but with the Apollo this might work, as the CPU would be running at 100MHz, whilst the memory would run at 50MHz.

If that is the case the slow memory access speed of the Apollo could be a "feature" rather than a "limitation" in this case.

Then again, it could just burn out the rest of the logic on the card :lol: .
