Switching off CGX output when using native modes
« on: May 12, 2007, 06:03:40 PM »
Is there a way to "kill" the CGX output of the CVPPC when the OS switches to a native video mode?

I'm seeing if I can get the CV64/3D scandoubler to work with the CVPPC, but when the OS switches to a native screenmode the  CGX screen freezes and remains visible.

Any ideas?
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

I've got an idea of how to solve this involving sync signals, a single transistor and a small vero board.
I think I need to think about it for a bit before reaching for the sodlering iron, as I should have been asleep 3 hours ago.
