I had recently updated Wikipedia with infos about built in Speech Synthesizer of Amiga.
Yep and you totaly f**cked it up. Please get your Informations right or simply leave them alone.
Just a small hint (which would have been your first visit if you would have had serious interest
in speech synthesis on computers)
here. Those where the people behind
the narrator.device for Amiga OS.
*snip*
In fact, at its launch in 1984, the Macintosh© announced its own existence to the public using our software, the original "MacinTalk"
which obvioulsy predates the Amiga OS. And if this is not enough, they also made S.A.M which started arround 1979, but
was not part of an operatings system though.
The only thing maybe valid is that Amigas speech engine was the first wide popular used, but definitly not the first.
So rush rush, go and fix it!
