sorry i have never used Imagine3D .. lightwave was more my thing but i like aladdin better. But i would imagine that aldaddin is more modern than Imagine3D but too change 3d app is not always comftable like when i went from 3ds max to maya all the menues tricks etc was different like lerning most of the stuff again...
