There are different 060 cpus i had one on one of my BPPC cards that would feel as hot as a 040 i diddent use a heatsink on it and it runned for years and i imagine it does still. I gues some cpu revisions are hotter than others... You could chage to a newer better mask and hence get a colder card but i would just slap a heatsink on it as it is the best way to lead away heat anyways ...

You do NOT need a tower on your 060 it will ruin half the feeling .. just find a small heatsink and if needed fan and you will be ok ... You may even cut a hole in the trapdoor and let the heatsink out there ...

If you have instability issues the a500 psu might not be strong enugh "not sure about that though" Dodgy operatinon alway accur when you have a bad powersource ..  But then again i had a BPPC running stable on such a psu for a long time while others sayed it could not be done so in my experience it should be ok but that psu is ageing and could be weaker than it used to be...
