The situation is easiest on Pegasos (and Amigaone) : just need a pci to pcmcia adaptater (like for pcmcia wifi cards) !
i have that card on the picture even two of them a great bit of hardware use it in my car computer...
as for the exstention problem if you cant find one that is long enugh try getting more than one and just patch patch patch.. they should be cheap on some china ebay seller..
or you could use a cf card in ide mounted converterand mount it in front of the tower. To mount files simply put the cf card in uae(as a hd) on the pc side of things to do transfers..
