Hi and greetings .You could go for the amiga 4000 but you are possibly more used to playing divxses fast acsess to mp3 dvd ++ since this is what you get on the x86 , apple these days so if you want power and willing too see something new i sugest a A1 or peggy as Lando posted over here lovely systems they both are.But i personaly think the a1 is a bit to exspensive i would rather go for a peggy witch i wont reason lack of compability whith the NEW AMIGA OS4 (ships only whith amiga one boards to day,but who knows in the future..sorry for beeing comfusing hope some off this helped.

And yes this is a   :-)  happy forum  :-)

The main problem I might have is the OS, I have only ever used  Workbench 1.2,1.3,2.0, and 3.1 but none of the newer ones.  I have winaue and fellows running at the moment with 3.1 on the Virtual HD....I took me a while to remember how to install a hd on a miggy but once I started it all came back very quickly.

hmm if you are used and know how to use 3.1 i see nothing wrong with trying out os4 witch is much of the same as you get in 3.1 after all os4 is based on earlier versions of WB whith exaptions of it is ppc code +++ futures..
dont know much about morph os but it looks damn good probobly got quite lot in common with os4
