MAS Player/ AmigaAMP
« on: February 18, 2003, 11:08:52 PM »
Hi folks...

I got my MAS player in the post today... absolutely excellent piece of kit!

Anyway, the native software is great, as is AmigaAMP.  However, is there any way to get AmigaAMP to output to its own screen? Or if there are any other MP3 software players which use the MAS player, that have a nice Low Res 340x256 screen??

Basically, the overscan modes on the MAS Player software interface is a bit annoying  and I'd like something similar with playlist and (maybe) visualisation support.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, where can I get render.library V30? I have V16, which is all I can find on Aminet. I need this for the WinAMP style skins.

Cheers,
AndyC

I managed to get it working rather nicely.  Its an amazing piece of kit, and it only cost me £30 through Amibench!

Next, I need to get a good low res GUI for it... the bundled GUI isn't really for me, and ideally I'd like to output AmigaAMP to its own screen, if that's possible.

If anyone knows any progs that use the MHI drivers for MAS Player, and have a nice Low Res (but colourful) GUI, please let me know.

Also, anyone know where I can get Render.library V30, required for AmigaAMP skins??

Cheers,
