Lha is just a compression format. On a Windows pc you can extract then with something like winrar amongst other software.
On Amiga you can extract using "lha x path_to_file:filename.lha" from the command line.

p.s. going by memory here. Not at home to test.
p.p.s. If you really have problems extracting ask me again as I have adfs of those samples disks. I really recommend learning to use lha though. Its quite simple and worthwhile learning if you want to use the amiga. Alternatively there's plenty of gui based software that will deal with lha files.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Ive not used the archive version of those sample packs, but Id assume those files are the samples.

Given that you was asking about adfs Im going to guess youre using an emulator?
If thats the case you could just drag and drop the archive onto the amiga side desktop and it will automount as a disk. Alternatively you could extract the files straight into a file based amiga partition.

Let me know a little about the amiga setup and I can help you further. Typing on my phone at the moment so Im reluctant to explain all possibilities (not a fan of typing on touchscreens :))

That makes things a bit trickier then unless you have a harddrive and OS2.x or above. It also makes the adf images redundant more or less.
Easiest way would be to simply copy the samples to a 720KB formatted pc floppy disk and then use something like crossdos on the amiga.
Failing that you'll need some kind of comm software and a serial/parallel/null modem cable.
To be honest an a500, unless somewhat upgraded with at least newer ks and a harddrive is a p.i.t.a to do much more than play ooold floppy based games on (and even then only if you already have the gwmes on disk).

Sorry, but once again Im going to need details of the amiga in use to be able to advise further.
