In regards to price, personally I'd be willing to pay a little extra compared to an equivalent more mainstream system. Would pay up to around $500aud for mobo+cpu, but thats a beast of a system in x86 money (i7+high end mobo), so anymore and I'd have to really think hard about it, or have more regular work than currently. There'll always be a big gap in what AmigaOS can provide in terms of hardware power compared to x86, but this looks like it might have enough grunt to deal with things that are expected of modern computing at least, and as such it's made OS4 potentially interesting for me again (Im an aros and classic guy mostly).
