A500 keyboard LED question.
« on: April 18, 2005, 12:52:29 AM »
Is it possible to take the LED from a old A500 keyboard and then use it with a PC motherboard.

Like for example HDD activity and power on?

Does it matter about + and - for the voltage? Anyone know if it is the same voltage Amiga Vs. PC?

Cheers.

What kind of resistor should I get? Thanks for the reply, by the way.

Awesome, thanks.

How do I connect the resistor to the led, on the plus? Just one resistor pr. led?

Have been looking on-line, but can not find any info on how much voltage the led needs. By the way, do you know how much voltage a PC motherboards sends out to the HDD led?

Many thanks. It works. Just had to ask in here first before I started to make a mess. Amazing.

...been snooping around to see if I could get the Catweasel IV to work with a keyboard from the A500.

Pics will come...one day, soon I hope.
