Shell, and editor

I program c++, and i use goldED for editing.....
But I need a decent shell for compiling, anyone of you can suggest a good amiga shell for me  :-D ?

I'm very happy with ZShell 2.9:

It has tab completion, it's small and it has a good command history. Get it.
