Easy. Take off the RF shield which covers the motherboard and put the hard drive over it, then close the Amiga. You should also put something between the drive and the mobo to prevent short circuits. I know that slim type drives fit nicely inside the case (when I bought my secondhand A1200 it had such type of drive inside). I'm not too sure about normal height ones, though. Anyway, I prefer to keep my hard disk out of the case, on my computer's desk.

BTW, you'll need a 2.5->3.5 ide cable for this.
