I believe he even charges Vat which makes the sales "official" and liable to European consumer laws.

While I don't expect to get a warranty, I would expect that at least these are checked before shipping (just switch the thing on, and boot a disk, that's all). Not having a warranty I find acceptable, DOA I don't.

Edit: Also, why is he charging VAT?
